His leadership capability is also shaped by his long-standing service as a Corporal in the Australian Army Reserve. \nDr Faisal Awan — Research Engineer (Energy)\, CSIRO \nDr Faisal Awan is a Research Engineer at CSIRO with more than 10 years of experience spanning applied research\, laboratory operations\, and engineering education. \nFaisal holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Edith Cowan University and specialises in subsurface energy systems\, including carbon capture and storage\, hydrogen geological storage\, reservoir engineering\, and experimental core analysis. \nThroughout his career\, Faisal has supported multidisciplinary research projects\, managed advanced laboratory facilities\, and published in high-impact international journals. He is passionate about translating research into practical engineering solutions and fostering collaboration between academia and industry. \nRebecah Ettridge\nFounder & Director\, Naturaliste Solutions \nRebecah Ettridge is the Founder and Director of Naturaliste Solutions\, supporting organisations across the mining\, resources\, energy and corporate sectors to meet evolving sustainability and climate reporting requirements. \nShe works with clients to strengthen governance\, manage sustainability risks\, improve stakeholder outcomes\, and develop practical strategies that deliver both compliance and long-term business value. \nDrawing on extensive experience in sustainability\, climate change and corporate governance\, Rebecah has helped organisations prepare for regulatory change\, improve reporting\, implement management systems\, and embed sustainability into business decision-making.
