2026 ECU Student Diary Artwork Announced

The ECU Student Guild is excited to announce the artists chosen for the 2026 ECU Student Diary.

Firstly, let us say, we really appreciate the time, creativity, and care that went into every submission. We were impressed by the talent and high calibre of submissions we received.

🏆 Winner: Aaliyah Henwood

We’re thrilled to announce Aaliyah Henwood, who is studying a Bachelor of Design, as the winner of the 2026 ECU Student Diary artwork competition.

Aaliyah’s artwork will feature on the front cover of the 2026 ECU Student Diary, which will be distributed to 4,000 ECU students next year — a fantastic achievement and a wonderful showcase of student creativity.

⭐ Special Mention: Sarah Searle (Runner-Up)

A special mention goes to Sarah Searle, a PhD student at ECU, whose submission stood out during the selection process.

Sarah’s artwork will be featured inside the 2026 diary, ensuring her work is also shared with students across the university.
