Join the ECU Student Guild Senate – EOIs Now Open

The ECU Student Guild is inviting students to become part of the Guild Senate team. Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for several Officer roles, providing an exciting opportunity to help shape student life, advocate for your peers, and make a real difference across the university.

Being part of the Guild Senate means you’ll contribute directly to initiatives that improve the student experience at Edith Cowan University, from supporting wellbeing programs to representing the diverse voices of ECU’s student community.

Roles Available

The Guild is currently seeking students for the following positions:

  • Undergraduate Officer – Representing the interests of undergraduate students across ECU.

  • Environmental Officer – Leading sustainability initiatives on campus and promoting environmentally responsible practices.

  • Southwest Officers (x2) – Advocating for students from the SW region and ensuring their needs are represented.

  • First Nations Officer – Supporting First Nations students and working on initiatives that celebrate and strengthen Indigenous culture on campus.

Why Join the Guild Senate?

If you’re passionate about sustainability, student advocacy, or supporting regional communities, joining the Guild Senate is your chance to turn ideas into action. This is more than just a leadership role — it’s an opportunity to build skills, gain experience, and contribute meaningfully to the ECU student community.

All roles are paid, acknowledging the time and effort students contribute to making a difference.
