Guild Kitchen Rules: Don’t Burn the Toast 😅

The ECU Student Guild kitchens are here for you — free tea, coffee, toast, spreads, fruit (and sometimes extra goodies 👀), plus space to hang. Joondalup even has a massage chair!

Love that for you.
But here’s the deal…

This is a shared kitchen, not a café — no one’s here to clean up after you. Take what you need and leave enough for everyone else 💙

Quick ground rules:

☕ Coffee = cup size, not bottle size
(No filling your Frank Green to the brim 😅)

🍞 Take only what you need 
Share the love.

🥛 Milk is for drinks & cereal only
No full glasses, please.

🧈 Use a knife in the spreads. Not your fingers.
We cannot believe this needs to be said, but here we are.

🚫 No plastic bottles or paper cups for hot drinks
Health & safety comes first.

🧼 Clean up after yourself
Wash. Dry. Put it back. Wipe the bench.

💧 Spill water? Wipe it up.

🔥 Watch your toast
Burn it = evacuate the whole building. No pressure 😅

⏰ Finally, the kitchen closes at 3pm (both offices), and that means no using the facilities after this time — or while pack up is happening. Please the team do their thing 🙏
