Notice of ECU Student Guild SGM (Special General Meeting)

Due to the resignation of the Guild General Secretary, The Guild Senate, as per section 56(2)(ii) of the Edith Cowan University Student Guild Constitution will conduct an SGM (Special General Meeting) to elect a General Secretary for the 2025 Senate Term to the 30 November 2025.

The SGM will take place on Monday, 26 May 2025 at 12:30pm in *Building 34, Room 545 and online.

Registration & Voting

Voting will take place by Secret Ballot conducted by anonymous voting in Microsoft Forms at the SGM.

All Guild members are welcome to attend, and registrations are now open via the link below. Note: if you are attending in person, YOU MUST BRING ALONG YOUR STUDENT ID. If you are attending via Teams, you must still register to attend using the link below.

Members who cannot attend are encouraged to SUBMIT A PROXY FORM that must be lodged no later than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the meeting. Note: both the appointing member and the Proxy must be Guild Members, with the proxy attending the meeting either in person or online.

Nominations

Guild Members are invited to nominate for the position of General Secretary by completing the nomination form below. Note: nominations open on Friday, 2 May 2025 at 4pm and will close on Friday, 16 May 2025 at 4pm.
