The Wilderness Society – Community Organizing Training
The Wilderness Society is running a 2-day training course in the fundamentals of community organizing which is not only intended for people who are or want to be involved in the environmental movement but in any community organizing.
The training is free, open to anyone who is interested and delves into the following:
- The theory and frameworks of community organizing
- Relational organizing
- Leadership and facilitation
- Communications for change (telling your personal narrative)
- Campaign planning
- Activating your local community
- Building grassroots teams and volunteer management
