The ECU Student Guild’s Academic Department is seeking a motivated student Guild member to act as the student representative to WAAPA’s Teaching & Learning Committee in 2018. Students who have an interest in academic processes and student advocacy are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be:

  1. An enrolled student in any Bachelor level coursework program at WAAPA.
  2. Familiar with WAAPA courses
  3. Engaging and approachable to fellow WAAPA students
  4. A member of the ECU Student Guild
  5. Able to attend the WAPPA Teaching & Learning Committee meetings at Mount Lawley campus (10:00-11:00am) on the following dates:
    1. Tuesday 27th March
    2. Tuesday 22nd May
    3. Tuesday 26th June
    4. Tuesday 11th September
    5. Tuesday 16th October
    6. Tuesday 27th November

This role will report to the Vice President Academic (VPA) and also involve attendance at the monthly Undergraduate Studies Department Meeting (dates flexible) alongside education officers from the other schools of study at ECU.

All Guild education officers will be rewarded with a certificate and professional written reference by the VPA for inclusion in their CV detailing their skills and commitment.
