Applications are now open for the position of Dircksey Editor-in-Chief 2020.

Applications close on Tuesday the 19th of November at 4pm. You must be an enrolled ECU Student for the 2020 Semester 1 & 2 to apply.

You should include a portfolio, resume and a 200-word bio about you. Applications must also include answers to the following questions:

  • What’s your vision for Dircksey in 2020?
  • What do you believe the role of an editor entails?
  • What experience/s do you have that make you an ideal candidate for this position?
  • What is your availability?

Applicants must have experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop. Premier Pro would also be ideal, but is not crucial. Applicants should also be aware of MEAA guidelines.

The position is a short term contract working out of the ECU Guild Mount Lawley Office from December 1 2019 – November 30 2020 and the candidate is expected to work 10-15 hours per week (days negotiable). The successful candidate must be able to commit to a 1 week induction from December 2-6.
