First Nations Movie Screening – Rabbit Proof Fence

π¬ First Nations Film Screening β Rabbit-Proof Fence
Join us for a powerful and meaningful evening as we screen Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002), a film that shares an important story from First Nations history here in Western Australia.
Based on a true story, the film follows three Aboriginal girls who escape from a government settlement and embark on an incredible 1,500-mile journey home, guided by the rabbit-proof fence. Itβs a moving story of resilience, strength, and the lasting impact of historical policies on Aboriginal families.
This screening offers students the opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage with First Nations perspectives through film.
