The ECU Student Guild will be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) for all Guild Members.

This meeting has been convened in accordance with the ECU Student Guild Constitution and provides Members with the opportunity to participate in key governance processes of the Guild.

At this SGM, Members will consider and vote on eligible nominees for the position of General Secretary, following the resignation of the previous office holder. The election will be conducted by secret ballot in accordance with constitutional requirements.

The Special General Meeting will:

• Present eligible nominees for the General Secretary vacancy
• Facilitate the election of the General Secretary via secret ballot
• Ensure compliance with the ECU Student Guild Constitution
• Provide Members with transparency and participation in Guild governance

All ECU Student Guild Members are entitled and encouraged to attend the Special General Meeting.

Active participation from Members is essential to the democratic functioning of the Guild and ensures student representation remains accountable and transparent.
